Something that I hold very close to my heart is the time I spend in tattoo ceremony with other women (men are welcome, but my work is mostly with women).

For a lot of people, tattoos are so much more than just a walk-in, walk-out experience. They carry depth, they tell stories, they mark the beginning or sometimes the end of chapters. They channel grief, love, loss, joy, reclamation. They are additions to our skin, to who we walk through this world as.

In tattoo ceremony, we honour this. We take our time and we create something that feels like an extension of you.

Each ceremony is different. Created for each and every different human. It’s not one-size-fits-all. That’s what makes it special, indescribable.
